An important growth strategy for Nintex from 2016 to the present day has been to acquire companies to expand the capabilities of the portfolio. To gain the maximum value of the strategy I led the UX strategy to unify the product offering ensuring consistency across the entire portfolio, this was the precursor to what is now known as the Nintex platform.
Given this work was to provide a visual representation of the strategic vision in product I worked directly withthe VP of Product and Directors of Engineering to ensure alignment at a senior level. The designs were never intended to be directly built, but to help internal staff understand what a unified Nintex portfolio may look like.
The homepage concept showed how all parts of the Nintex portfolio could come together under a unified global navigation with a consolidated dashboard that allows users to easily access tasks and assets. It also showed a concept on how beneficial business insights could be surfaced to users.
Automation software needs to provide a view of all activities a user has started. This view demonstrates a model where different capabilities from workflow, forms and document generation could be displayed to the user so they know exactly where in the process that automation activity is.
The forms view provides a centralized view of all forms available to a user with an easy means to filter them by tags.
Unifying all products into a single platform means that administrators need a way to manage user access across all capabilities.
